It was so nice to have finally found a Handyman who comes with all the experience (carpentry, painting, plumbing, tiling, and roofing), after 2 years of looking. Mike is that guy. We found his advertisement in AV News and checked out his website. I gave him a call, and he showed up, which is a win; they don’t always show up. He listened to what I needed to get done and gave me an estimate. What I liked was that he listened to me, sometimes workmen don’t with women. So I hired him to reside my wooden shed, paint and put a metal roof on it. He also replaced a wooden gate with a post in cement and a section of picket fence. When there was a problem, he came, explained, and I okayed. Fixing the shed door and putting a small gutter over the door to keep rain out of the shed. The shed now will last another 30 yrs.
It was so nice to have a workman here, no swearing and not have to watch over him or lend a hand. I am having Mike come back to replace my kitchen counter, replacing the sink, doing the taps, plumbing and backsplash. He asked if I wanted a tile one. I declined, going with a piece of matching Arbonite sheet like counter. He understood my reasons, was very polite and respectful of my wishes. Mike is that guy – the Handyman.
